The diode laser hair removal machine uses the principle of selective photothermal effect to apply high-intensity laser to the hair follicles. The melanin in the hair follicles can selectively absorb the laser energy. The 755nm wavelength is effective for light to olive skin. It is particularly effective for treating fine hair. The Alexandrite laser is known for its speed and precision.
Considered the “gold standard” for laser hair removal, the 808nm wavelength is suitable for all skin tones, including light to medium-dark skin, offers a good balance between speed, efficiency and patient comfort, and is effective for targeting coarse and medium hair types.
1064nm wavelengths are best for darker skin and can also be used on tanned skin. They do not cause changes in pigmentation and are therefore safer for darker skinned patients.
The powerful cooling system makes the hair removal process cool and comfortable, and the sapphire touch tip minimizes the risk of burns on the skin's surface while maintaining heat within the dermis where the hair follicles are treated.
